IELTS(International English Language Testing System) 시험은 영국의 대학에 진학하고자 하는 학생들에게 필요합니다. 이 시험은 학생들의 영어수준을 반영해 주기 때문에 향후 영국에서 더 공부하고자 하는 학생들의 학습 적응 능력을 평가하는 기준이 됩니다.
IELTS 시험은 미국의 TOEFL에 해당하는 영국의 시험으로써 호주, 뉴질랜드 및 다른 영어권 나라들은 물론이고 현재는 미국의 많은 대학과 칼리지들도 이 시험을 입학기준으로 채택하고 있는 실정입니다.
저희 학교의 IELTS 코스는 시험을 잘 치를 수 있는 효과적인 수험방법을 배울 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 시험 자체의 전 영역(듣기, 말하기, 쓰기, 읽기)을 골고루 실습할 수 있도록 중점을 두고 있습니다. 시험이라는 성격상 전반적인 일반영어수준의 향상을 도모하는 목적이 아니기 때문에 전반적인 영어실력의 향상을 원하는 학생들은 IELTS 코스를 듣기 전에 먼저 일반영어코스(General English Course)에서 공부하거나 동시에 이 두 코스를 같이 수강하는 것이 좋습니다.
