The IELTS (International English Language Testing System) examination is a requirement for students wishing to enter most British universities. It shows the student's level of English and therefore indicates the student's ability to participate in a course of further education in Britain.
The IELTS examination is the UK's equivalent to the TOEFL examination in the USA. It is now also accepted in many universities and colleges in the USA, as well as throughout Australia, New Zealand and other English-speaking countries.
Our IELTS course focuses on examination techniques and practises all elements of the examination itself. Less attention is given to the process of learning English, and students who wish to improve their English should take the General English course before joining the IELTS course or should study both at the same time.
