Oxford School of English has an excellent reputation for intensive courses in Professional English, and we provide training to companies and individuals from all over the world.  Our Business English course is specially designed to meet the needs of the modern working environment.  

Our Business English course is composed of:

• 15 hours General English per week.  This gives students the opportunity to work on their overall level of English to improve their language level in everyday situations both in and out of work.
• Intensive lessons with a specialist tutor.  This gives students the chance to work on the individual language areas and skills they need for the professional world.  The course can also include work on aspects of business language such as:
  
  -formal and informal discussions with colleagues
  -talking with confidence on the telephone
  -writing accurate, natural reports, letters and emails   
  -studying specialist vocabulary
  

• Project work.  Directly linked to the intensive classes, students work on projects, which can be related to their job or based on work within their classes.  Students are given support and assistance to research subjects in English, and they then use this research to give presentations, write reports or hold negotiations and meetings in the school.

Business English Qualifications

Oxford School of English is a registered test centre for two of the world’s leading Business English qualifications - the TOEIC Test and the BULATS test.  You can enhance your opportunities in the workplace by taking one of these exams during your period of study.
